They had done all the filming and editing before I got involved. So we had to design the effects and work up a pipeline together after the fact. I did a lot of 3D tracking and layout creating with 3Ds Max, PFTrack and MochaPro without trackers or mesurements taken during filming. We also tried many different effects and plug-ins on NUKE before we settled on this. So there was a lot of trial and error before getting it right, but I learned quite a bit.
